This Levolor curtain rod functions perfectly and is a beautiful accent to my new family room. I purchased this set to cover a space around 80 inches. The rod was fairly easy to install and all you really need is a drill. The rod comes with all the necessary hardware and extra screws. We hung blackout curtains that were 52' by 84' (2 panels)and they are very thick curtains. Since the curtains were a little on the heavy side we added the center support bracket. You get a total of 4 brackets and if installed correctly they should not be 'flimsy' as another reviewer stated.
This is a much nicer set for the same amount of money if not less that you would spend at your local supercenter store. The rod color is even better than the picture with a brassy antique feel - very rich.
