I purchased this to use as a 'dog door', i.e., it hangs across our side door, so we can leave the door open and the dogs can go in and out freely without letting flies in. As far as that goes, it works beautifully. However, the darn thing is so flimsy -- the wire is so thin, the bamboo is so thin -- that it is falling apart. The slightest pressure from a breeze or from me going through it causes the bamboo beads to split and/or the wire to break, so it has lost about a third of its strands so far. They break off. The exposed bits of wire after the beads split then catch on other strands and pull them apart. It's really been a waste of money for us.
