Unable to find a ready-made rod 1" or wider for a smaller window, I was very happy to find this one! It IS beautifully made, heavy materials that would translate well for wider widths. BUT... the lack of set screws to hold the rod in place in the brackets was either a lazy omission or a pathetic cost cutting device.
