I bought a set of these to hang new curtains in my apartment. They are very nice to look at and have the added bonus of extendability. However, they are cheaply constructed. The curtains I bought, weighing at most a pound, bent the rod in the middle when it was extended, and the curtains came down. Each rod I tried, a total of six, had this issue.I am very disappointed with such a good company as Levolor producing a product that has such shoddy workmanship. Buy elsewhere.
