This is a very bland valance. The picture shows texture and depth to it, but I think you would need to have multiple valances on the same window to get this effect; or to have a much smaller window than the dimensions. Also, the length of the valance is not conducive to shorter windows (I was looking to put this in my bathroom). Because this is a fire-retardant material, it's just not that pretty.
