I purchased five tension drapery rods for a house in Antigua, Guatemala which has a concrete finish to the exterior and interior walls. This made the tension rods a better alternative for putting up curtains. And the rods worked very well. However, one rod end did not have a set screw to tighten the front rod. In fact, the rod end was not even tapped so that a set screw could be inserted into it. As a result, I had to have a machinist tap the rod end and then I purchased a set screw from a hardware store.
