I bought these valances on a whim, thinking - hey, good price, might match for a while....and am beyond surprised at how much I love themLets talk fabric: shiny silky look burgundy, slightly iridescent. Good weight, good quality, no snags or left over ends. Trim - including the gold design and the braided trim, is well done, well attached, and beautifully embroidered on.
They are larger than I expected - I measured but somehow didn't get the full idea of their length or width. They frame my slightly boxed window settings beautifully. Perfect for my living room.
