These are really cool but the AC adapter has a significant design flaw. DO NOT STRESS THE POINT WHERE THE CORD ATTACHES TO THE TRANSFORMER IN ANY WAY I have spent about ten hours searching for a new adapter without any luck. I bought mine at Christmas Central and they appear to have a draconian return policy. Great idea, incrediable effect, poor design. If anyone knows where to buy a TDCpower Model PSA-06-06DW they would be a hero.Update, the nice people at enviromental lights found a source for a new power supply for about $25. The place where I bought it (christmas central) offers a thirty day warrenty only and the manufacturer who says they offer a two year warrenty never returned my e-mail. Anyhow after I plugged in the new power adaptor the lights all blinked once and then the first led in each strip glowed. I noticed that the very end of the wire was sprarking internally and was black. I touched it and it was hot enough that it was melting. I kinda squished the plastic together, I could not see what was going on in there because although it used to be clear the sparking had burned it black. While I was crushing the end the arcing stopped and the lights have operated properly for three days.
The effect is spectacular and people stop their cars in front of my house and stare at the lights. Sure hope that they work next year.
